The SO area has fantastic opportunities to carry out a wide variety of activities. Whether they are for yourself or for your children or grandchildren, you will find plenty to do in this area.

If you select Walking below, you will find details of your local Ramblers group. You will also find our featured walk from Winchester to Shawford. This very popular walk can be taken as one or split into shorter walks without missing some of the loveliest countryside you will find anywhere.
On our Boating page you will find contact details for sailing, power boating, canoeing and windsurfing.
As you might expect in an area with such extensive countryside, there are many riding schools for those interested in horseriding. Find contact details for some of these by selecting Horse Riding below.
